Fastbraces Patient Smiling | Fastbraces Fairfax VA

A smile can light up any room, especially when that smile is perfectly straight and without flaws. If you want a straighter smile without the time commitment of traditional braces, Fastbraces may be the treatment for you! Fastbraces are an advanced orthodontic technology that stimulates your bones and allows your dentist to straighten your teeth in a shorter period of time.

If your teeth are misaligned, crooked, or crowded, Dr. Fairfax can help you achieve your dream smile with Fastbraces.

How Fastbraces Work

Your dentist uses supplemental therapy that targets the dental arches that hold your teeth in position. This therapy stimulates the bone and allows the teeth to move into position more quickly. Fastbraces has a high-performance brackets system that focuses on upright tooth roots from the onset of the treatment.

This triangular bracket system consists of a single, square-shaped wire that minimizes the space between teeth and shifts the teeth into proper alignment much faster. Using techniques called tipping and torquing, Fastbraces move the crown and tooth root simultaneously. In a matter of months, Fastbraces can work its magic and give you exceptional results in less time than traditional braces.

Fastbraces vs. Traditional Braces

Traditional braces realign your teeth in two phases: the upper part of the teeth are realigned during the first year, and the root is realigned during the second year. Though each case varies, traditional braces typically take two years to align teeth into their proper positions.

Fastbraces, on the other hand, shift the full tooth (the crown and the root) at the same time. This significantly cuts down the time you would have to wear braces to achieve a straighter smile.

Though Fastbraces look similar to traditional braces, they are not made of metal, and they do not require constant adjustments from your dentist. Fastbraces are comfortable, a little more discreet than traditional braces, and can take as little as three months to correct your teeth.

Am I a Candidate for Fastbraces?

People of all ages can enjoy the benefit of wearing Fastbraces. These innovative, comfortable braces can resolve various orthodontic issues, from crowded and crooked teeth to overbites and spacing issues. Before your orthodontic treatment begins, Dr. Fairfax will first evaluate your bite and determine if Fastbraces is the best option for you.
